1. Wave Vocabulary: amplitude, frequency, wavelength, period, speed…know what each word means, how to identify that property on a graph or use an equation to find it.
2. Graphs…a graph with distance/length on the horizontal axis gives NO information about period or frequency. A graph with time on the horizontal axis give NO information about wavelength.
3. Equations that will be given:
V = fl Period = 1/frequency dist = velocity x time
4. Use V = fl to reason about the sounds of different objects vibrating…like the air in a bottle, or the string on a guitar.
